BMX Holiday Jam: Tips, Tricks & Progression

BMX Progression Session

Slam Factory Indoor Skatepark is hosting a BMX-only progression session designed for new and developing riders looking to build confidence in a supportive environment.

For the full 3-hour session, experienced BMX riders Alex Toomey and Jaycob Toomey (Slam Factory Team Rider 2026) will be available throughout the park to answer questions, share tips, and provide guidance on BMX fundamentals. Whether you’re learning the basics, working on new skills, or simply looking for advice, they’ll be there to help you progress at your own pace. All skill levels welcome, if you're an advanced rider come along and share your skills.

With no scooters or skateboards on the park during the session, you’ll have the opportunity to ride features such as the box and step-up in a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere without the usual mixed-sport crowds.

Entry is $25 per rider. Helmet hire is available if required.

Places are limited to 40 riders, so pre-booking is essential. Grab your bike, invite your friends, and come enjoy an afternoon dedicated to learning, progression, and having fun on your BMX!

GENERAL INFORMATION

• All sessions are strictly capped at 40 riders per session

• Pre-bookings are essential for all sessions (walk-ins are only welcome if sessions aren't already sold out)

• This is a dedicated BMX / MTB only session. Mixed sessions welcome all riders of scooters, bikes, roller/inline skates, and skateboards etc.

• This session is priced at $25 per person. Alternatively, upon arrival at Slam Factory, you have the option to purchase a 1-Day Unlimited Pass for $40; this pass allows you to participate in as many sessions as you wish throughout the day. Please note that manual booking is required for each session you intend to join. Additionally, every Saturday, from 4pm to 6pm, the park is reserved for Private Birthday Party bookings. Therefore, riding is available from 10am - 4pm and from 6pm to 10pm on Saturdays; please check Social Media Updates to see times for the day.

• You can also purchase a 1-Month Unlimited Pass for $95 and participate in as many sessions as you like for 30 days (commencing the first day you use the Pass) as well as a 3-Month Unlimited Pass for $205 or an Annual Unlimited Pass for $650

• We ask that spectators are kept to a minimum to ensure maximum space for riders.

• Helmet use is mandatory for all riders

• A Waiver Form must be completed for all riders - This only needs completing ONCE PER PERSON NOT EACH BOOKING.

- When booking, please double-check the date, time and session type and number of riders you've selected is accurate. It is important to review all entered information for accuracy.

- Once you have made your booking, it its your responsibility to check the correct dates and times have been selected.
